History

Ms. Yang is a 71 years old patient from China. She was diagnosed with Systemic lupus erythematous about 6 year ago. She had symptoms like: intermittent fever, dry in eyes, nose, mouth and lips. After hormone therapy, her symptoms had improved slightly. She had been suffered from choking sensation in chest and radiating pain on her back for ten years. After taking an examination in local hospital, her doctor considered her choking sensation in chest and radiating pain on back was caused by her systemic lupus erythematous. Ms. Yang had been admitted to ReLife International Medical Center duo to her symptoms in May, 2014, and made significant and obvious improvements after this therapy. So, she turned to ReLife again in November to receive stem cell therapy.

 

Medical Condition before Stem Cell Treatment

Since her first complaint, the patient was no low-grade fever, dry cough, no joints and muscle pain, no headache, no epilepsy seizure, blurred vision. Choking sensation in chest happened occasionally. The patient had normal appetite, slept well, normal urination and defecation, without losing weight. Physical examination: T: 36.2℃, P: 84 T/ m, R: 19 T/m, BP: 124/58 mmHg, general condition. Several visible ecchymosis (the diameter is about 1cm) on the right forearm and the back of both hands. Apart of eyebrows fell off. The patient was hyporichosis without mole of liver palm, spider. There was no cyanosis on the Oral. Oral mucous membrane was dry. She had normal, lung and abdomen. Normal mobility showed on limbs and without edema on both lower limbs.

 

Stem Cell Treatment & TCM for Nineteen Days

After admission, several medical protocols were applied, including: MSC (Mesenchymal Stem Cell) Therapy combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, Chinese massage, Chinese herbal soup) and Supportive Treatment.

 

Medical Condition after Stem Cell Treatment

After treatment, the patient is alert, good spirit; normal sleep and appetite. Xerocheilia symptom has improved. The bladder and bowel function are normal. Physical examination: T: 36.8℃, P: 85 T/ m, R: 19 T/m, BP: 130/72 mmHg, general condition. Several visible ecchymosis (the diameter is about 1cm) on the right forearm and the back of both hands. Mobility on limbs is normal and without edema on both legs. Ms. Yang was discharged last Saturday, after two treatments in ReLife International Medical Center, her symptoms have improved significantly, chest distress, backaches and edema disappearing gradually. She feels more energetic. Her knee-joints have more flexibility, so she can stretch her legs freely and can walk by herself without a cane. Red rash are gradually disappearing.
