History

Mrs. Tatjana, 49 year-old female. Having lower limbs move slowly without any obvious inducement since 3 years ago. She has been feeling painful cramps and muscular tremor for a year and a half, mostly in the thighs, relatively less in the lower leg. There is no numbness or tingling in the legs. No difficulties present in the arms. The patient has noticed that she cannot stand up from the squatting position without support of the arms since June 2012. Cranium and arms unremarkable. Able to squat, rises only with support of the arms. Able to walk on tiptoes, discretely less successful in walking on the heels. Occasional fasciculations in the m. quadriceps femoris visible. Painful cramps appear when m.quadriceps femoris is contracted a bit stronger. Patellar reflex lively, Achilles tendon reflex not obtained, Babinski negative.

 

Stem Cell Treatment & TCM for Three Weeks

Supplementary diagnosis after all routine examinations. Given nutrition repair factor injection and thrombus and creatine phosphate sodium drug use; acupuncture, moxibustion, massage and physical therapy combined with TCM decoctions as adjuvant therapy; patient’s condition engender improved.
